ASA(Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) uPVC(Unplasticized Polyvinyl chloride) Sheet
1. Surface Layer - Surface Layer- The Material is ASA(Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) and ultra weather resin, to block the solar ultra violet and reduce the coefficient of heat conductivity, ensure product durability and resistance to chemical corrosion.
2. Underlying layer - contains Multi foam giving to the material light weight and improved sound and themal insulating properties and its a good material toughness special to ensure the strength at the same time, increase the rigidity and light illumination.
ASA is made by intoducing a grafted acrylic ester elastomer during a copolymerization of styrene and acrylonitrile (SAN). The finely divided powder is uniformly distributed in and grafted to the SAN molecular Chains. The outstanding weather ability of ASA is due to the acrylic ester elastomer.

Note: When fixing, drill hole by electric drill at first the drilled hole diameter should be 2mm bigger than the screw and Minimum 5 nos. screw should be applied in 1 Square Meter. For details, refer to the Installation manual.

Properties
ASA parts have high gloss, good chemical and heat resistance, and high impact strength, even at low temperatures. Typical heat-deflection temperatures for ASA are 180 to 220 °F( 82 to 104 °C) at 264 psi. Tensile strengths are 4,000 to 7,000 psi; elongation at break, 25 to 40%, flexural modulus, 220,000 to 250,000 psi; and notched Izod impact strengths are 9.0 to 11.0 ft-lb/in. (at 73 °F) and 4.0 to 6.0 ft-lb/in. (at -40 °F).

- Excellent waterproof performance - The high weathering resistance resin adopted in the roofing tile is compact and does not absorb water. And the product is 45% wider than conventional ones; therefore it needs fewer joints and thus performs better waterproof function.
- Good sound insulation - A test shows that this tile has good noise absorbing effect under noise of rainstorm and strong wind.
- Excellent corrosion resistance - The experiment proves that this tile has no chemical reaction when it is soaked in salt, alkali and various acids under 60% for 24 hours. Our product is very suitable for coastal areas and places where acid rain often falls.
- Strong fire resistance - According to GB8624-2006 standard detection conducted by the state autoritative department of fire prevention, its fire proofing perfomance is ≥ Class B.
- Good resistance to impact - A test shows that the tile doesn't crack after 1 KG steel ball falls on it form 3 meters high. Moreover, the resistance to impact under low temperature is also very outstanding.
- Excellent load carrying ability- The test shows that the roofing neither cracks not be damaged when the supporting spacing is 610mm and 150kg of load is applied. (2.0mm)
